Biography
My journey into alternative medicine began in 2003 as an acupuncture patient. My son was born with some debilitating health issues for which there were no conventional western medicine answers. I sought the healing and insight of a much more ancient and holistic medicine that took into account the broader range of who we are and of what we are a part. Seeing ourselves as an integrated whole within our bodies, spirits, minds, and within our environments and nature, made a most sacred and timeless sense to me. It rooted me back into a deeper knowing of myself and of the greater concept of who we are and how we harmonize within ourselves and the greater whole.
After living abroad in Switzerland and raising my son there for the first several years of his life, we embraced the ubiquity of homeopathy as it is practiced there. Our family doctor was an M.D. in both conventional medicine and homeopathy, a common combination, and acupuncturist. Integrative medicine was a cultural norm and further expanded and deepened my appreciation for the nurturing holistic healing arts.
Upon arriving back in the United States in 2008, I began acupuncture school in California. I had been deeply interested in and soaking up information on all forms of natural healing over the years, but Oriental medicine in its age-old sacred practice and philosophy enticed me the most.
It was a different paradigm from the western ways of thinking on many levels, but so much more natural and intuitive to what we truly are. Diving in deeply, I pondered its philosophies and logical processes of diagnosis and treatment with tapped in intuitive power. I completed my studies and passed the board exam in 2014 with a natural ease.
In 2016, my family and I relocated to Princeton, NJ, where I currently reside. After getting resettled, I began to practice Quantum Healing Hypnosis Therapy (QHHT), while waiting to receive my Diplomat in Oriental Medicine from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
QHHT has been the biggest paradigm changer for me in terms of how deeply and intimately connected with and adept at understanding and integrating the spirit into the forefront of the healing practice. Using QHHT enables one to access healing from the root in one's spirit into the whole of the human being. This is a truly holistic healing modality.
QHHT begins with a profound healing journey into the mind and spirit behind the physicality of our human form. From there, the ripple effects make there way into our denser physical properties so that our complete being can be brought into a higher, healthier, and more vibrant alignment.
This modality directly focuses on the mental/spiritual realm of our make-up, from which pathological states begin, and must ultimately be transformed for broader healing to occur.
